Kainuu Trail and Riikka Tulppo are organizing the second info-webinar for the Kainuu Trail 2026 trail running event on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 17:00 to 18:00 (EET) via Google Meet.

– We held the first webinar with Riikka last December, and the turnout was so great that we decided to organize another one right at the beginning of the year, says Race Director Jukka Liuha.

– It’s well worth joining to pick up the best tips for preparing for Kainuu Trail and to ask any questions regarding participation and the event itself, Liuha encourages.

Additionally, wellness coach Riikka Tulppo will introduce her trail running coaching program aimed at next summer’s race. You can find more details about the coaching course at the end of this article.

Kainuu Trail 2026 Heading for Record Numbers – Participation Limit Expected to be Reached Early

The number of participants for the Kainuu Trail 2026 trail running event surged to record-breaking levels during the registration phase that ended at the turn of the year. By early January, 356 runners have already signed up, which is nearly 57% more than at the same time last year.

The current registration status shows that trail running on the magnificent pine-needle paths of Hossa National Park is attracting more enthusiasts than ever before.
