The next, lower-priced entry step for the Kainuu Trail trail running event closes when the year changes, on 31 December 2025 at 23:59:59. Many sport/exercise benefits expire by the end of this year, so now is the time to invest any unused benefits in your well-being for next year and secure yourself an experience on the magnificent trails of Hossa National Park.
The Kainuu Trail office staff will be on Christmas holiday between 23 December 2025 and 4 January 2026. We recommend that all participants registering for Kainuu Trail in December contact the office by 22 December at the latest if needed, as this is when we can serve and assist you most smoothly.
If you plan to register for Kainuu Trail in December 2025, you should read the tips in this article for the smoothest possible registration process.
Please contact our office if necessary – especially if you are registering for the event:
- Paying with a sport/exercise benefit
- NOTE! Familiarize yourself with the payment instructions for sport benefit payment methods before contacting us
- Transferring participation from 2025 to 2026
- NOTE! Familiarize yourself with the cancellation and change terms and conditions before contacting us
- Have agreed upon registration separately with the Kainuu Trail office or the Race Director
In other cases, you can conveniently register directly through the Kainuu Trail registration service, where payments can be made using bank credentials, various payment cards, or invoicing.

The 6th Kainuu Trail Hossa National Park (Finland) trail running event will be held next summer on Saturday, 27 June 2026.
